What it is:
An innovative festival for 1–2 minute “cellphilms” (mobile phone videos) on urgent social topics. The 2025 theme — This is Not a Time for Silence — centers on the power of everyday people to speak truth and spark connection through film.

Why it matters for you:
If you’re doing work around mental health, collective care, or social justice — especially from a Global South or underrepresented lens — this is a creative, low-barrier way to be heard.

What you can explore in your film:

  • Mental health in activist spaces

  • Community care in crisis

  • Silenced stories of healing

  • Black, Indigenous, feminist, or queer mental health narratives

  • Creative or poetic takes on burnout, joy, or resistance
