What it is:
Voices from the South: Storytelling for Impact is a flagship program by CNN Academy that brings together emerging storytellers and journalists from the Global South. The program offers hands-on training in multimedia reporting, ethical storytelling, and the use of AI tools in journalism—all grounded in storytelling that drives change.
The program is hosted in Abu Dhabi and provides participants with access to CNN mentors, production labs, and a global network of changemakers.

This isn’t just a media training—it’s a capacity-building space for storytellers shaping the future of public narratives across the Global South. Whether you're documenting community health, mental health, migration, or climate realities, the program helps you sharpen your voice, tools, and impact strategy.
