Why it matters for you:

If you're part of a nascent feminist collective, survivor-led initiative, or informal network doing frontline work in crisis-affected communities—this is fuel for your fire. Whether you’re tackling sexual violence, building peace, or restoring safety in your community, your innovation is the intervention. Especially relevant if you’re working in regions the world keeps forgetting.

What you can propose:

  • Feminist crisis response models

  • Survivor-led safety and care networks

  • Community organizing against femicide, GBV, or state violence

  • Health and trauma support for women and gender-diverse people

  • Peacebuilding and anti-militarism led by local voices

  • Unregistered or hyperlocal initiatives that formal systems overlook

Who it's for:
Small or unregistered grassroots groups led by African women, girls, and gender-diverse people, operating in conflict or crisis-impacted contexts.

Funding: Up to $15,000 per year for two years (max $30,000 total)
