Becoming a Certified Youth Mental Health First Aider

I spent a full day in Millersville earning my Youth Mental Health First Aid certification, learning to spot, support, and de-escalate mental health crises in young people. From self-care to suicide awareness, the training was an eye-opener and a reminder that everyone should know how to offer mental health first aid.
