The 7th Global Mental Health Summit (GMHS), co-hosted by the Movement for Global Mental Health (MGMH) and the Global Mental Health Peer Network (GMHPN), brings together leaders, advocates, researchers, policymakers, and people with lived experience to reimagine the future of mental health.

The 2025 theme is: “Mental Health and Wellbeing: What has Changed? What Needs to Change?”

This event builds on the successes of previous summits (Athens - 2009, Cape town - 2011, Bangkok - 2013, Mumbai - 2015, Jo’burg - 2018, Chennai - 2022) serves as a platform for global collaboration in shaping the future of mental health.This global platform centers equity, inclusion, and innovation, driving paradigm shifts in mental health policy, practice, and lived experience leadership.
